CES 2022: Autel Robotics unveils the EVO Nano series
At CES 2022, in January, Autel Robotics announced the new EVO Nano and the EVO Nano + drones.
EVO Nano series overview
The base model comes with a 48MP camera capable of capturing 4K 30fps video. Additionally, the camera pairs with a three-axis mechanical gimbal, preventing camera vibration.
Powered by a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor, the Autel Robotics EVO Nan+ is a highly capable drone. The sensor features an RYYB color filter design with an aperture of f/1.9. Ultimately, this reduces the noise the sensor captures and allows for quality low-light image capture. The drone also has an HDR mode, which helps you capture rich shadows and highlights in darker conditions.
The drone also features an autofocus system, allowing it to track fast-moving subjects through its PDAF + CDAF system.
Lightweight
Both the Autel Robotics drones weigh just 249, making them great travel companions since they weigh about as much as a smartphone.
Many shooting modes
Both drone models feature four automatic shooting modes. These modes include Rocket, Fade Away, Orbit and Flick. All four adds movement to your videos and make them look even more professional.
SkyPortrait mode
In SkyPortrait mode, the Autel Robotics EVO Nano series will rise into the air and take photos of you and anyone else you want to include in the photo. It’s an easy way to get a group shot of everyone. It can also add a cinematic effect by automatically blurring the background.
Obstacle avoidance
The EVO Nano series utilizes an obstacle avoidance system to prevent crashes. Both drones feature three-way binocular vision sensors to sense obstructions in front of it, behind it, and below it.
Battery
The drones can fly continuously for 28 minutes. So, you should have enough time to get the shots you need before having to land.
